Ultra-Scan Awarded
US Army Phase II SBIR
for Fusing Biometric and Contextual Data

Ultra-Scan was recently awarded a Phase II SBIR follow-on contract to continue a recently completed Phase I effort with the objective of developing architecture and algorithms to fuse biometrics with associated information across databases in a net-centric environment. Phase II activities will include developing a framework and methods for improving profile information of a POI for identification and tracking; proposing scenarios, evaluation methods, and use of test samples; and constructing a prototype and establishing proof of concept.

Western New York Inventor
of the Year Award

Ultra-Scan recently won first place in the Small Business/Independent Inventor category and was also selected as the overall WNY Inventor of the Year awardee at the 35th Annual WNY Inventor of the Year Awards ceremony sponsored by the Niagara Frontier Intellectual Property Law Association.  The award was based on Ultra-Scan patents for fingerprint capture system design.
